These terms apply when you use the Complex Web Design website. By using the site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

What we do

Complex Web Design builds custom websites and offers social media management, with an AI receptionist service coming soon. Anything on this site, including prices, is general information and an invitation to get a quote, not a binding offer. A project becomes an agreement only once we both confirm the scope and price in writing.

Quotes and pricing

Listed prices are starting points. Your final quote depends on what your project actually needs, and we confirm every quote with you before any work begins. Prices are in US dollars.

Payments

Payment terms are set per project, typically 50% to start and 50% at launch, with flexible plans available if you need them. Third-party costs such as domain registration and services like Stripe are paid directly to those providers.

Ownership

What you get depends on your plan. On a Buyout, you own the code, hosting, and domain once the project is paid in full. On Managed, we host and maintain the site (and often hold the domain) for a monthly fee, and you can convert to a Buyout at a discount to take full ownership at any time, since you won't be charged full price twice. Your content and customer data are always yours.

Your content

You are responsible for any text, images, or other material you give us to use, and you confirm you have the right to use it.

Our work

Until a project is paid in full, the designs and code remain ours. Our own branding, logo, and website content belong to us.

Acceptable use

Please don't misuse this website, attempt to break or overload it, or use it for anything unlawful.

No guarantees

We build our sites to a high standard, but we can't promise specific business results, search rankings, or uptime for services we don't control. The site and its content are provided "as is".

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or incidental damages that arise from your use of this website.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon.

Changes

We may update these terms as our site or the law changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
