Complex Web Design (“CWD,” “we,” “us”) is a two-person web design studio operating from the United States. You can reach us at complexwebdesignhq@gmail.com.

We collect two kinds of information:

1. Information you give us directly through our contact form:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your business name (optional)
• Your phone number (optional)
• Your project interest, budget range, and project description

2. Information collected automatically as you browse the site, through Google Analytics and Google Ads:

• IP address (anonymized) and approximate location
• Browser type, device type, and operating system
• Pages you visit on our site, time spent, and how you navigate between them
• The website or search term that referred you here
• Whether you clicked on a Google Ad to reach us, so we can measure ad performance

Our hosting provider (Netlify) also automatically logs standard technical information such as IP addresses and browser type for security and reliability purposes.

We use contact form information only to respond to your project inquiry. We do not sell it, rent it, share it with advertisers, or use it to build a marketing list.

We use automatically collected analytics and advertising information to:

• Understand how visitors find and use our site
• Measure which marketing channels (including Google Ads) bring in real inquiries
• Improve the site and our advertising over time

Contact form submissions are delivered through Formspree, a third-party form-handling service. Formspree stores submissions on their servers and forwards them to our business email. You can read Formspree’s privacy policy at formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy.

Analytics and ad data is processed by Google through Google Analytics and Google Ads. Google’s use of that data is governed by their privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking entirely by installing the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. You can manage Google Ads personalization at adssettings.google.com.

Our business email is hosted by Google (Gmail). Google’s privacy practices govern that storage.

We keep project inquiries for as long as we’re actively communicating with you, and for a reasonable period after that in case you come back to us. You can ask us to delete your information at any time by emailing complexwebdesignhq@gmail.com.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:

• Know what personal information we have about you
• Ask us to delete it
• Ask us to correct it
• Opt out of any sharing (we don’t share, but you can confirm)

To exercise any of these rights, email us at complexwebdesignhq@gmail.com. We respond within 30 days.

If you are in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Our services are intended for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has submitted information through our site, email us and we will delete it.

This site uses cookies and similar technologies for two purposes:

• Functional storage required for the site to work (such as remembering your preferences). These cannot be turned off.
• Analytics and advertising cookies set by Google Analytics and Google Ads. These help us understand how the site is used and measure the performance of our advertising.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Blocking analytics cookies will not affect the site’s functionality. You can also opt out of Google Analytics specifically using the link in the “Where it lives” section above.

If you visit us from the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, additional consent controls may apply.

We take reasonable steps to protect the information you share. The site is delivered over HTTPS, security headers are applied site-wide, and form submissions are transmitted to Formspree over an encrypted connection. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we follow current best practices.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
